Doctors were celebrating last night as the cure for Ebola was automatically triggered after one million people shared a post on the social media site Twitter.
Dr Amy Chan from the World Health Organisation said “Thank god we don’t have to waste any more time and money on doctors, health workers, and research. It’s just fantastic to live in a day and age where people can change the world by clicking a button.”
Phillip Davies, a twenty year old student from Sydney who retweeted the post on Monday said “We did it, I’m so proud to be a part of this”
Mr Davies has since joined the organising team and hopes to solve many more of the worlds problems through social media saying “we want to fix Africa and Asia.” Mr Davies declined to go into specifics.
