Celebrity chef Jamie Oliver has started a campaign to ensure that all UK schools provide breast feeding as part of their lunch program.
“As well as fruit and veggies it should also be compulsory for every meal to contain a nutritious dose of healthy breast milk,” said Oliver in between contemplating what stupid name he should give to his next child. “I would expect whatever mum is on tuck shop duty that day be prepared to feed over 500 kiddies.”
To help with how to serve his latest super food suggestion, Oliver tweeted directions on how to prepare a caramel breast milk creme brulee as his recipe of the day. He is also considering putting breast milk on the menu at several of his signature restaurants.
“I’m quite happy to do it as long as he provides free cold cabbage leaves for me to stick inside my bra afterwards,” said waitress Tracey Renshaw who works at Oliver’s central London steak house Barbecoa. “I hope he’s prepared to play tapes of crying babies in the kitchen to ensure there’s enough to go around on busy Saturday nights.”
In response to Oliver’s breast feeding campaign, Woolworths has announced it will now be selling a range of Adriano Zumbo designed breast milk flavoured Tim Tams.
