Gen Beta Phrase: Goo Goo Gaga Dada Tipped To Be Named Oxford’s Word Of The Year

Though only January, Oxford dictionary has already decided that the Gen Beta phrase: ‘Goo Goo Gaga Dada’ will be their word of the year. The move follows last year’s decision to declare the Gen Alpha phrase ‘Brain rot’ the 2024 word of the year.

”Gen Beta is here and they are ready to make an impact,” said a Spokesperson for the Oxford dictionary. ”Gen Alpha is so last year with their skibidi toilet’s and Logan Paul’s.”

”Gen Beta is the real deal, I mean goo goo gaga dada, genius, it says so much.”

However, not everyone is ready to embrace Gen Beta, with think pieces already being written about the inherent misogyny shown in the phrase. With many questioning why Dada is said instead of something more gender neutral.

Said Alex Opinion of the Perpetually Outraged Blog: ”The inherent misogyny on display from Gen Beta is quite staggering. Not even a month old and already they are crying out for women to feed them and change their diapers.”

”This generation needs to be cancelled.”
