A prominent anti-halal campaigner has expressed shock and dismay after discovering that you can’t actually just go around making up random shit to defame an entire religious group.
The moment of shocking realisation came for Kerrie Bigot, who runs the HalalAware website, when she found out she was being sued by the head of Halal Certification Association, due to videos she made claiming he was “part of a conspiracy to destroy Western civilisation from within” and “reasonably suspected of providing financial support to terrorist organisations” because, like, well he is a Muslim yeah?
“I spoke to my lawyer,” a still slightly stunned Bigot told The (un)Australian, “and I couldn’t believe it when he said that, yes, in fact you can’t just make up any shit you like just so you order to defame a group, even and this was the bit that really got me, even if that group were Muslims!
“I mean, like, what the fuck? if you can’t just make public claims with no evidence whatsoever so as to spread bigotry and hatred against the Islamic community facing a rising tide of fear and loathing, with growing risks of a new Cronulla-style race riot, then this is just political correctness gone mad!”
Bigot is confident of winning the court case, however, citing what she described as the “unimpeachable sources” for her claims: the comment section on Andrew Bolt’s blog and that voice in her head, “which I am pretty confident I can prove in any court of law is actually God telling me to destroy the Unholy Infidels in a new crusade”.
But, if the unthinkable happens and Bigot loses, she has a message for her fellow country people: “Don’t come crying to me, Australia, when all that halal-certified bacon you’ve been eating funds the imposition of Sharia law and you get beheaded for not praying to Osama Bin Laden 10 times a day! Just like the Greens want!
“Oh I suppose I am not allowed say that either?! I am not allowed publicly state that Lee Rhiannon is ISIS’s second in command?! We are being silenced in our own country! Wake up sheeple!”
