Australians everywhere are celebrating the win of the Australian rugby team the All Blacks in Twickenham early Sunday morning.
“It’s so great that we beat the other team.” Said Sydneysider James Jackson. “Once again we Aussies are the world champions! It feels so good.”
A tickertape parade will be held in Sydney later this week. Notable Australian actors Sam Neill and Russell Crowe will be speaking at the parade that will end at Bondi Beach.
“I’m stoked about the parade,” said Mr Jackson, “apparently some great Aussie bands are gunna be playing. I heard Crowded House, Kimbra and Keith Urban are playing. Seriously. You can’t get any more Aussie than that, some great Aussie bands playing at Bondi.”
The relentless All Blacks beat the other team 34-17 and in a world first defended their Rugby World Cup title.
The All Blacks are not expected to celebrate as they start the build-up for the 2019 Japan Rugby World Cup.
