People Who Didn’t Vote For Senator Leyonhjelm Question Why They Should Be Paying His Wages

Libertarian senator David Leyonhjelm’s statement that childless taxpayers shouldn’t be forced to subsidise childcare has provoked a response from the 90.5% of taxpayers who didn’t vote for him, asking why they should have to subsidise his wages.

“I didn’t vote for the prick so why should I have to cough up my hard-earned cash to fill out his pay packet”, said Penrith voter Naven Johnson. “In fact none of the bastards I voted for got in so I don’t see why I should have to pay tax at all.”

The poor response to the Liberal Democrat senator’s childcare policy has delayed his announcement of further policies, such as the one where people intending to commit suicide before the age of 65 should not have to fund old-age pensions, and the one where bald men shouldn’t have to subsidise TAFE training for hairdressers.
