Low-rating cable channel, Sky News Australia, have announced that disgraced columnist, Miranda Devine, who fled the country after being found to have defamed a disabled child (yep, really), will be fronting their US election coverage.
”The whole US election is kind of a car crash, so why not have some car crash coverage,” said a Sky News producer. ”We’d usually go with our own band of nut bars, but, as the ratings show, Bolt, Murray, Panahi et al don’t really rate.”
”So, we called up Miranda and she was free so we thought why not. If nothing else she’ll attract the defamation lawyers.”
When asked whether Miranda Devine had shown any remorse for defaming a disabled child, the Sky News producer said: ”Well she stumped up the cash didn’t she?”
”Besides, it’s a great chance for Miranda to plug her latest book, coming soon to a discount bin near you.”
