The Australian apple industry has today condemned the national broadcaster the ABC over what they say is a deliberate and calculated bias against apple’s in favour of trendy leftist bananas.
A spokesperson for the industry told the (un) Australian, “These inner city latte sipping trendies promote their bananas in pajamas constantly but what about the apple? This nation was built on apples, without apples Tasmania wouldn’t be the apple isle it would be just a little island where cousins get it on with each other.”
Conservative commentator and apple enthusiast Andrew Bolt backed the apple industries claims telling the (un) Australian, “It’s typical of the ABC to favour the banana despite the fact the majority of Australian’s are in favour of apples. Remember, an apple a day keeps the doctor away, bananas don’t do that?”
The (un) Australian contacted the ABC to get their take on the situation however we called on a Tuesday and caught them unawares.
