Yesterday The (un)Australian was hacked and an erroneous article was posted that claimed we had been silenced due to pending legal action. Keen-eyed readers were quick to realise the article was a fraud, as it was too well written.
When news of the hack went viral, we were inundated with support from many well-wishers and offers of help from lawyers, IT experts and even politicians (thank you Senator Brandis for all the lovely metadata you passed on). To all those who reached out, we say sincerely, thank you, we are truly humbled.
Now, as for the hacker, we will spare no expense to track down those responsible. We will leave no stone unturned, from Russia to North Korea to Newtown to wherever the Shooters and Fishers Party call home (unless of course it’s a swamp or gun range, in which case, good luck with that).
You can rest assured that The (un)Australian is here for the long run, or at the very least until Sharri Markson discovers us.
