Australians have woken up this morning to to a sea of anger from the Motherland over last night’s Ashes test result, which has left them stumped as to the reason why.
”Yeah, I started watching it but flicked over to the Tour De France at the lunch break and then drifted off,” said Aussie Sports Fan Paul Couch. ”Woke up this morning and Facebook is going off, gee the Poms are angry.”
”Not sure why, he threw the ball immediately and it’s not like Bairstow himself hasn’t done the same thing.”
Low-rating Sky news host Piers Morgan was especially angry at the result, telling The UnOZ: ”It’s just not cricket, in fact, I don’t think this tactic was thought up by the Australians, rather, this smells of Meaghan Markle.”
”Would not put it past her to sabotage the sport of cricket in an effort to get back at the King.”
”The only way to save cricket and England is to have Markle bought to the Tower and given the old Boleyn treatment.”
”Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have 10 very excited viewers waiting to hear me rant.”
