Niche network Sky News Australia has announced today that they have signed controversial dumpster fire Piers Morgan to host a new weekly show on the network.
The network is hoping that Morgan will help the network increase their ratings and hopefully break the elusive double figure viewer mark.
”We are so excited to have landed Piers,” said a Sky News Spokesperson. ”There was a lot of competition for his services, we had to lobby hard try convince him to sign with us as opposed to joining Pete Evans’ new anti-vacc party.”
“However, insanity prevailed and Piers signed with us.”
When asked why the network was rushing out to sign the disgraced broadcaster, the Spokesperson said: ”Our network prides itself on taking those people deemed by most to be unemployable or unwatchable and giving them an audience of 5 or 6 to spew forth their views.”
”Now, if you’ll excuse me, I hear there’s a video doing the rounds of an elderly lady shouting racist views on a crowded bus, I need to get in contact with her agent.”
