Rogue Coalition backbencher, Andrew ‘friend of Gina’ Hastie, has told his friends (Gina), that he quit Sussan Ley’s cabinet after the Liberal leader demanded that he add an extra S to his surname.
”Yeah, people think it was over the whole immigration issue, but he just didn’t want to be known as Andrew Hasstie,” said a confidant of the rogue backbencher. ”I mean Sussan actually put that demand into the letter she sent him.”
”Cost of living is going through the roof and we’re focusing on numerology.”
When asked if we could expect a challenge to Ley’s leadership anytime soon, Mr Hastie’s confidant said: ”Only one person can answer that, and that’s Gina.”
”Let’s face it, Andrew is being directed by Gina, she learnt her lesson with her previous purchase in Dutton and this time she is going to play her hand a heck of a lot better.”
”Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have to go and help Andrew film a vid for socials on the benefits of bringing back leaded petrol.”
