Former Opposition Leader and amateur taxi driver wrestling enthusiast Mark Latham has been named the greatest prime minister Australia never had. The award was bestowed upon Latham by the Liberal party.
A party spokesperson told The (un) Australian, “Latham would have been a hoot as PM, I mean he’s rude, abusive, violent, one term of Mark in charge and we’d be governing for the next twenty years!”
Previously the Liberal party had often spoken of former opposition leader Kim Beazley as the greatest Prime Minister Australia never had, when pressed on the change of heart the spokesperson said, “We loved Kim he was a good bloke and a superior intellect and kind of reminded us of a big teddy bear, however you do get sick of punching the same old teddy bear.”
When approached for comment Mr Latham screamed abuse at The (un) Australian then broke down in tears whilst begging us to drop him off at his local hungry jacks.
