JK Rowling, author of the Harry Potter series, has announced this week that she regrets a death that occurred in the best-selling book series. However fans expecting her to lament the loss of popular characters such as Dumbledore, Fred Weasley, Sirius Black or Dobby will be disappointed.
Rowling lamented her decision to kill off the entire series, telling The (un) Australian, “I mean I don’t know what I was thinking in ending the series after the seventh book (Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows). I mean sure I’ve got enough money that I never have to think about any of it ever again, but imagine how much more money I could have if I went to eight, or ten books, I could buy Greece!”
In an effort to work her way back into earning money/writing Rowling has started publishing a series of short stories on her website http://www.pottermore.com, at this stage access to the site is free.
