David Hicks Named New Tourism Ambassador For Kabul

Hicks

Former Guantanamo bay resident and bazooka enthusiast David Hicks has today been named the new tourism ambassador for Afghanistan’s capital city Kabul. The announcement was made after Hicks fronted a press conference following the quashing of his conviction for involvement in terrorism related activities.

Hicks told Journalists when asked on what he was doing when he was charged in Afghanistan that he was on holiday, in the war zone. When pressed on why he was pictured with a bazooka, Hick’s claimed that it was a Nerf bazooka and he was simply playing with the local children.

Hick’s told The (un)Australian of the beauty of the war torn city, “Kabul is stunning I mean where else in the world can you feel like you’re on the set of American Sniper? Kabul is unspoiled by McDonald’s, Starbucks, running water.”

Former Prime Minister John Howard has already spoken to Hick’s about booking a tour to Kabul, Howard would like to join Hicks and bring along some of his old friends from ASIO so as to get an insight into Hicks’ life.
