The Sky News team has spent the week celebrating after their coverage of the Liberal leadership crisis resulted in record ratings for the network. They even came close to breaking the elusive double-digit viewers mark.
“What a great week we had all our shows numbers were up, heck Outsiders did a personal best with 6 people tuning in to watch,” said a Network Spokesperson. “I tell you I wish we could have a leadership spill every week.”
“Oh wait it’s Australia we can.”
When asked whether they felt the media held any responsibility for the latest leadership tussle the Spokesperson replied: “I wish it was just us that caused this but the thank you notes need to be sent to a few people.”
“Which reminds me. I need to send Tony Abbott a bottle of Grange as a thank you for all his hard work sniping and undermining.”
