NSW Premier Orders The Army To Shoot Any Sniffer Dog Within 5 Km’s Of Randwick Race Course

Melbourne Cup

NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian has called in the Army to protect race goers at Randwick racecourse from drug sniffer dogs. With a particular focus on keeping the sniffer dogs away from those attending the Everest horse race.

“People just want to come to the races have a bit of a bet, a drink and well maybe a snort or two without being hounded by the sniffer dogs,” said a Spokesperson for the Premier. “And those race goers are providing valuable gambling revenue to this State.”

“Besides the sniffer dogs should be going to areas that don’t vote Liberal, like the Inner West or a music festival.”

When asked whether the Government was concerned about the use of drugs at a horse race the Government Spokesperson said: “Of course we’re concerned. I mean we don’t get any revenue from drugs, well cigarettes and booze we do but not coke or pills.”

“Hmm maybe we need to legalise some of this stuff so we can get some more revenue streams happening.”

The Everest Horse race will be this Saturday with attendees reminded to gamble irresponsibly.
