Australia’s number one Donald Trump impersonator, Peter Dutton, has wheeled his son out in front of the press to illustrate the difficulty young people face in buying their first investment property.
”Times are tough and my son is a classic example of how tough they are,” said the member for Dixon. ”He’s in his early twenties and already he’s resigned himself to only ever owning two or three negatively geared investment properties.”
”The kid should be able to dream of owning at least a dozen.”
When asked why all of a sudden he was wheeling his family out on to the campaign trail when previously he had said they were off limits, Donald Dutton said: ”In tough times family comes together, and if you’ve seen my polling numbers then you know we are definitely facing tough times.”
”Besides, the kid is better off on the campaign trail with his old man.”
”The only bags he’ll be carrying are mine., or Gina’s.”
