Former radio broadcaster, Ray Hadley, has answered an SOS call from the NRL to belt out a few tunes at the Grand final following Teddy Swims unexpected illness.
”I’m not much of a singer but I know the people of Australia love to hear my voice,” said Peter Dutton’s biggest fan. ”I think I’ll open my set with a few tunes from Hello Dolly, maybe a Les Misérables number or two before closing with, well I might keep that one a secret.”
‘Wouldn’t want to spoil the show.”
When asked how his act will stack up compared to the superstar performance given by Snoop Dogg at the AFL Grand Final, Mr Hadley said: ”Well mine will be better cause I’m white, err, I mean I’m from the right.”
”Besides, Peter V’Landys doesn’t like the Dogg fellow, and if Peter V doesn’t like it, neither do I.”
”Now, if you’ll excuse me, Alan Jones is coming by to give me a few vocal tips, apparently he has a technique to help me with the high notes.”
