Interim Opposition leader, Sussan ”SS” Ley, has condemned Prime Minister, Anthony Albanese, after the PM was spotted in a Joy Division t-shirt that he had not sought approval from Sky news Australia to wear.
”I don’t step out of the house without consulting the team at Sky News, so I don’t see why Mr Albanese shouldn’t do the same,” said the Opposition leader (for now). ”And to wear a shirt promoting a band with a name that Sharri Markson feels is anti-sematic, well has he no shame?”
”Poor Sharri, night after night she puts out a show that only three people watch, and now she has the PM ignoring her fashion dictates.”
When asked why the public should listen to her attacks on the PM over antisemitism, when she changed her name so it would have SS in it, the interim Opposition leader said: ”The SS is in reference to my favourite car, the SS Commodore, it’s a mere coincidence that it is also the name of my favourite crew from World War 2.”
”Besides, this isn’t about me, if I wanted to be attacked and ridiculed I’d go back to my own party room.”
”Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m off to attend a brainstorming session with the crew from Sky News. Apparently they have the contents of Albo’s garbage bin, this should bring down his Government.”
