Australian pop superstar and reality TV tragic Peter Andre has announced that he will be putting himself forward for the top job of Australian Prime Minister for the upcoming federal election.
Mr Andre told The (Un)Australian that he was inspired by fellow celebrities turned US presidential contenders Kanye West and Donald Trump.
“Kanye is one the most humble and well spoken musicians in the world and Donald Trump is just such a successful and well liked guy,” Mr Andre said. “They are sort of role models of mine, so I thought I would follow in their footsteps, who knows one day, maybe I could be as popular as them.”
Mr Andre is famous for his song “Mysterious Girl” and for marrying English model Jordan, who he met while competing on the English version of I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here. Its believed that Mr Andre is talking to One Nation and the Palmer United Party.
