Benevolent Queensland Senator, Bob Katter, has launched a GoFundMe campaign to raise money in support of his upcoming battle against a Queensland crocodile.
“Well after it worked for Archbishop Folau”, stated a spirited Katter, “I knew the Aussie people would get behind me, too!”
According to his GoFundMe page, which has set it’s target at $4 million AUD, the funds will be spent on shovels, shotguns, and the purchasing of “snowflakes to be used as live bait”.
The campaign also stated that some funds may be sunk into the development of a “Crocodile Repellent Spray”, an idea for which Katter admits he lifted from the 1966 Batman movie.
PETA representatives have called the campaign “abhorrent”, although when asked, former PM Malcolm Turnbull was a little more whimsical, claiming it would just be “one dinosaur versus another”.
