NSW State Premier, Gladys Berejiklian has moved to relax the visitor limits after the front and back lawns of her North Shore home have become overgrown and unkempt.
“I’m sure all of NSW are suffering from an overgrown yard. These relaxed restrictions will allow all residents of NSW to rehire their gardeners and keep a happy home.” She stated on a live stream from her double acre property.
This is the first step in reducing the restrictions placed on the state in March, however, not all politicians have welcomed the move.
“Poor people are more likely to carry the virus,” argued the nation’s Treasurer, Josh Frydenburg. “I’d prefer to deal with a messy garden for a few more months”.
It’s believed that former Deputy Prime Minister, Barnaby Joyce, has welcomed the change, saying he’ll finally be able to have both his families home over the weekend.
