Australia’s leading unconvicted Catholic, George Pell, has appeared on niche news station Sky News Australia to appeal to the World to reach out and embrace embattled Royal, Prince Andrew.
”I know what it is like to be shunned by the public at times,” said the Cardinal. ”So, to each and every person I say, reach out to Prince Andrew in his time of need, give him a shoulder to cry on, let him kiss your babies.”
”He is Royalty after all.”
When asked, given the Prince’s past transgressions, why he should be embraced at this time, the Cardinal said: ”Let he who is without sin cast the first stone.”
”We’ve all made mistakes, cut a corner here, assumed someone was older than they actually were there.”
”But, society needs to learn forgiveness.”
”Now, if you’ll excuse me I’m off to join Israel Folau for a lesson on how to use social media.”
