Interim NSW Premier Dominic Perrotet has centered his campaign launch around the promise to give every NSW Child $400 to be matched by their parents in vouchewrs to be used at a NSW Pokies venue when they turn 18.
”What we are doing is setting the State’s most valuable assets up for a healthy future,” said the Premier. ”This $400 will grow and appreciate and by the time it makes it’s way to the Pokies in 18 years time it will be a real boon for Clubs NSW.”
”This is a policy that my Government is fully behind and not just because Clubs NSW has threatened to to end us.”
When asked how this policy will help future generations buy a home, the Premier (for now) said: ”Well, they might have a big win on the Queen of the Nile, or take a tumble in the club foyer and sue.”
‘Now, if you’ll excuse me, the manager of Rooty Hill RSL needs his lawns mowed so I best be off then.”
When reached for comment Labor leader Chris Minns not only offered to match the Premier’s policy but triple it.
