Former PM Scott Morrison’s wife Jen has promised the part-time member for Cook to take him to Subway for a sandwich and a cookie, in an effort to cheer him up after he watched current PM, Anthony Albanese in America talking about submarines.

”Scott, sorry, ScoMo, has taken his election loss in his stride, never really appearing down, until today,” said a close associate of the former PM. ”When Albo was shown on TV with Biden and the UK PM on board a boat surrounded by submarines, that really got him down.”

”Poor Scotty, he was hoping to use a picture of him on a sub as his new FB profile pic.”

When asked whether the former PM had any plans to move on from parliament, the close associate said: ”Why would he?”

”He’s getting paid a fair some and doesn’t have to do that much.”

”And let’s be honest, it’s not like there are many other job offers out there.”

”Now, if you’ll excuse me, I must head on down to Engadine Subway. ScoMo loves it when I laugh it his footlong joke when ordering.”
