Coalition Condemns Govt For Prioritising Pensioners Over Millionaire Pharmacists

The federal Opposition has condemned the Government over their decision to implement 60 day prescriptions, a move which will drop the price of medication, helping pensioners, but affecting chemists.

”Where does Anthony Albanese get off,” fumed Opposition leader Peter Dutton. ”Decent hardworking pharmacists are getting the raw end of the deal here and for what?”

”Just so a few free loading pensioners can save a dollar or two on their pills.”

When asked why he was against low income earners getting a break on cost of living, the Opposition leader said: ”Pharmacists have a lot of financial commitments.”

”They have kids in private schools, BMW’s and Mercedes Benzes to keep on the road, not to mention donations to political parties to maintain.”

”Now, if you’ll excuse me, I need to go out and listen to the community, walk the streets of Mosman and Toorak to really get in touch with the people who matter.”
