Low rating cable channel, Sky News Australia, has pledged that it’s hosts will walk backwards around Australia this month to encourage the Nation to vote no at the upcoming referendum.
”Australians will be inspired to see some of the countries leading antagonists strolling through their neighbourhoods backwards,” said a Sky News Executive. ”They will be joined by some of our guests as well.”
”For instance, Barnaby Joyce will be wandering past all the local girl’s schools in the country, keen to press the flesh, so to speak.”
When asked why the network seemed to always take the negative side of every debate, the Sky News Executive said: ”We tried being positive but that ended up with old mate Andrew Bolt in court.”
”Look, someone has to play devil’s advocate and under certain lighting Paul Murray does pass for the devil.”
”Now, if you’ll excuse me, I must be off, we have to chaperone Barnaby through the school zones.”
