Joyce Asks Duty-Free Dutton To Pick Him Up Some Tia Maria On His Way Back From Israel

The Opposition’s shadow minister for home and foreign affairs, Barnaby Joyce, has asked his leader, Peter Dutton, to pick him up a bottle of Tia Maria from customs when he returns from his latest overseas jaunt.

”Pete loves a little overseas trip, whether it’s America, Israel or anywhere else where the press can’t contact him,” said the member for New England. ”So, the least he can do is pick us up a bottle of Tia Maria or Malibu, I’m not too fussed.”

”I’d ask for a carton of smokes but I don’t think he’d want anyone else in the party to be lighting up at the moment.”

When asked why the Opposition leader was constantly heading overseas, whilst at the same time criticizing the Prime Minister for the same thing, Mr Joyce said: ”Ah well, you’d have to ask Peter that one.”

”Good luck, there’s not too many flights to Tel Aviv these days.”

”Anyway, must be off, I want to check what Dan Murphy’s is selling Tia Maria for, make sure Dutton’s not ripping me off.”
