Inner West DJ, Anthony ‘Albo’ Albanese, has been forced to move up to the central coast after his trendy inner city suburb of Marrickville become too expensive for him.
”Times are tough you know, the DJ gigs aren’t as plentiful as they used to be and my side-hustle of being Prime Minister isn’t the money spinner that you’d think it is,” said DJ Albo. ”I’m on the road a lot and when you factor in all the expenses with that, I’m struggling to get by”
”Thankfully the Central Coast is still within reach, hopefully I can get in contact with a few local RSL’s and pick up some gigs.”
When asked what hope he would give to the youth of the nation who one day dream of owning a home in the city they were born in, DJ Albo said: ”There’s always hope and lotto tickets’
”Did you see the other week that someone won $10 million from Powerball, that’d get you a nice studio apartment in Newtown or Fitzroy.”
”Now, if you’ll excuse me, I need to go and pester my local suburbs Facebook page for moving boxes.”
