Peter Dutton’s minister for home affairs, Barnaby Joyce, has demanded that the Government put together a plan to bail out American ‘restaurant’ Hooters and potentially nationalise it, as the chain enters administration.
”What sort of a World are we living in when a fine establishment, such as Hooters is about to go broke,” ranted the member for New England. ”If they go, where will I hold my boys’ 13th birthday party?”
”McDonalds have clowns not jugs.”
When asked why he felt the Government should step in when historically the Coalition has been for the market rather than Government intervention, the member for New England Said: ”History is written for and by the losers, the rest of us are out having a good time.”
”We all remember our first time at Hooters, being told to look but not touch, trying to hide a semi as you get up to hit the salad bar, ah, the memories.”
”Now, if you’ll excuse me, I need to get a team of interns together for a working lunch, can you believe that Dutts is going to soon make this tax-deductible?”
