Deep sea divers exploring the deepest part of the ocean, the Mariana trench have come across an unexpected item, Australia’s Environment Minister Melissa Price.
“We were on the lookout for unusual creatures or objects but we didn’t expect to see human life down there,” said one of the divers. “It was bizarre she was standing there handing out how to vote cards. When we approached and asked her about the environment we must have spooked her as she swam off and hid under a rock.”
When asked why his Environment Minister was at the bottom of the ocean instead of facing up to the media during the campaign, interim Prime Minister Scott Morrison said: “Look Melissa is campaigning hard in her seat, which as I’ve said many times is the largest geographical seat in the country.”
“I think it shows initiative to head on down to the bottom of the ocean to chase votes. A lot of people live under rocks, have you seen some of the people running for the Senate?”
