Australia’s most prominent racist One Nation Senator Pauline Hanson has moved on from kicking foreigners to attacking the unemployed following Australia’s decision to close it’s borders due to the Covid-19 crisis.
“My political career hangs on me attacking somebody,” said Senator Hanson. ”With very few foreigners around I have to chose a new target, so why not the unemployed.”
”I should clarify that when I say unemployed I don’t mean the salt of the earth country people that are unemployed, but the inner city, nose ring wearing hipster type of unemployed.”
With the nation facing an almost unprecedented economic disaster leading to unemployment climbing to almost 10 to 15%, Senator Hanson was asked whether she had any empathy for those doing it tough. To which she said: “No, I don’t unless of course they vote for my party.”
”You see if I don’t go after the unemployed, I run the risk of becoming unemployed myself.”
”Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m off to centrelink to film myself berating some unemployed hippies.”
