Sky News presenter and blogger Andrew Bolt has bid farewll to the city of Melbourne by declaring that he is really a CoUNTry boy at heart and announced a move out of the city and into the country.
“Alas, Melbourne is not what it used to be, things in this city are just not white,” said Mr Bolt. “I yearn for the good old days when you could call a spade a spade and not be convicted of racial discrimination for it.”
“Oh well, off to the country I go here’s hoping I can finally find my people.”
When asked why after the year the city of Melbourne has had he felt the need to leave and deliver a parting shot in his column, Bolt replied: “Have you seen Dan Andrew’s approval ratings?”
“The people of Melbourne have stopped listening to me and my colleagues, so clearly it’s not us who’s out of touch it’s them.”
“Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m in the process of selling my house, I need to ensure that only the right type of people inspect it.”
