Australia’s Attorney General and aspiring Minister for Home Affairs Christian Porter has announced that he intends to trade in Australia’s current Industrial Relations laws for a much younger model.
“It gets to a point in every countries life when they get bored with what they’ve got,” said Minister Porter. “They want something, younger, sleeker, dare I say it sexier.”
“Sure, we as a country could play the field or swing for awhile but maybe’s it time to look at something else.”
When asked whether the Government’s tinkering could lead towards a return of the election losing work choices legislation, Minister Porter said: “Whoa, whoa, whoa, don’t go pulling the work choices card on me, babe.”
“We’re just having a good time, getting to know one another, be cool, be cool.”
“Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have to go and meet an IR lawyer in person who I connected with through Tinder. Don’t tell 4 Corners or my wife though.”
