Prime Minister for Sydney Scott Morrison has made a move to appease the French, after his disastrous handling of the Submarine deal by asking his favourite restaurant Engadine McDonalds to start selling a Royale With Cheese.
”I understand that the French President isn’t that happy with us at the moment,” said the PM. ”So, I have made a move to appease him by getting Engadine Maccas to start selling a Royale With Cheese.”
”That’s what they call a quarter pounder in France you know.”
When asked if he was serious about repairing the relationship with the French, the PM said: ”Of course I am, however, I can’t do this alone.”
”I’m calling on Australia to embrace the French. Start French kissing, use French letters and of course eat French fries.
”And don’t forget to pardon your French, I know the French Ambassador didn’t when he heard about our new AUKUS deal.”
The French President could not be reached for comment.
