Australian Prime Minister Scotty from marketing has asked his wife Jen why there isn’t an International Men’s day as he prepares to be the guest of honour at several events celebrating International Women’s Day.
”The PM was merely enquiring as to what day International Men’s Day falls on,” said a Spokesperson. ”He wants to make sure his calendar is clear as he has no doubt that Jen and the girls will really spoil him on that day.”
”For the record International Men’s Day is November 19th, so ladies start your planning.”
When asked why the PM was seemingly more focused on Men than Women, the Spokesperson said: ”That’s just not true. The PM has spent just as much time talking to Linda Reynolds about maybe finding another career as he has with Christian Porter about finding a better alibi.”
”The Prime Minister is a committed Father, Husband and Son and he looks forward to celebrating International Women’s Day with great gusto.”
”Now, if you’ll excuse me, he’s asked me to pop on down to Bunnings to pick him up a bunch of flowers for the little lady.”
