Niche news network Sky News Australia have blamed Australia’s rising cost of living as the reason for their shows rating so poorly.
”Interest rates and energy prices are going up, so the poor Aussie battler can barely afford to turn on the fan let alone the TV,” said a Sky News Executive. ”That has to be the reason for Paul Murray rarely getting more than double figure viewership, right?
”Right?”
When asked why the network was now looking for reasons to blame their low ratings when they have always been a low rated network, the Sky News Executive said: ”We have not, I mean Andrew Bolt once had hundreds of viewers.”
”Sure, they were mostly defamation lawyers, but they still watched all of the show.”
”That’s something that not even our cameramen do.”
”Now, if you’ll excuse me, I hear there was a lady yesterday delivering a racist rant in Sydney. I must go and see if she’s interested in hosting a show on the network.”
