Clubs NSW Warn That Any Moves Against Them Will Only Hurt Nanna

Pokies den operators Clubs NSW has warned both sides contesting the NSW election to be careful on any planned reforms of the industry as it will only hurt Nanna.

”We all know and love our Nanna,” said a Clubs NSW Spokesperson. ”And Nanna loves nothing more than coming down to her local club, on the courtesy bus, having a cup of tea and slapping a few lobsters through the machines.”

”Do we really want to take this simple pleasure away from Nanna?”

”After all, less pokies means we’ll have to put up the price of tea.”

When asked what they were doing to combat problem gambling and money laundering, the Clubs NSW Spokesperson said: ”We have signs in all our clubs, you can’t miss them they are A5 and posted out back near the bins warning of the dangers of gambling.”

”Besides, is problem gambling really a problem?”

”The money does go back to the community, why just last week one of our executive bought a brand new Maserati, and he bought it right here in NSW from a local car dealer.”

”So, don’t say we don’t give back to the community.”
