Former Australian Prime Minister (yep, really) Scotty from marketing, has tweeted out to Twitter owner Elon Musk to ask him to give him a call so they can talk about branding and employment opportunities.
”Elon is a bloke with a lot of irons in the fire and I’m sure he’d like a safe set of hands to help him out,” said Scotty from marketing. ”What do you reckon a role like head of marketing for Twitter would pay?”
”Surely, it would be seven digits, right?”
When asked why he was seemingly on the lookout for a new job when he was already employed as a member of parliament, the member for Cook said: ”I think the people of Australia want to see me go off into the sunset.”
”I would happily do so, but, you know I’m still a youngish man and I’ve got bills to pay.”
”Maybe the people of Australia could have a fundraiser for me. Give generously to ScoMo, just to make sure he does go.”
”Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m still on holidays you know, so I might go and see what Jen and the kids want to do tonight. Gee, it’s hot in Europe at the moment.”
