Australian Prime Minister and part-time DJ, Anthony ‘Albo’ Albanese, has put on a brave face after being told that President Biden has booked the B-52’s for their up coming State dinner instead of Devo.
”Ah, look the B-52’s have had some good hits and a really great career , so, I’m sure they’ll put on a great show,” said DJ Albo. ”Would have been nice to see Devo, but, you know I am willing to compromise and work with President Biden.”
”Besides, will be a better night than when ScoMo came over. Who’d they book that night, Pat Boone?”
When asked what he hoped to achieve on his US trip, DJ Albo said: ”We hope to achieve a lot, for instance I’m hopeful of tracking down some rare Midnight Oil bootlegs from their 86 tour.”
”There’s also a lot of World events to discuss, like will the Boss tour again?”
”What about Aerosmith, sure, I prefer the Stones myself but Pump is a heck of an album.”
”Anyway, must be off, hoping to pick up some duty-free Winnie blues for the boys back in the ‘Ville.”
