Opposition leader, Peter Dutton, has tasked his shadow Treasurer, Angus Taylor (yep, really), to set up a Go Fund Me account with the hopes of raising 140 billion in order to pay for the nuclear power plants that they plan to build.
”Angus is not incompetent, despite what his colleagues may say, so, I hope he can get the ball rolling on our nuclear power plant funding,” said the leader of the Opposition. ”Besides, he can’t really stuff up a Go Fund Me account, can he?”
When reached for comment on how the Go Fund Me account was going, Angus Taylor said: ”Swimmingly, we’ve had a few issues like forgotten passwords and attaching the wrong Swiss bank account to the set up page.”
”But, we’re on track now and the donations are rolling in, why just this morning we had a donation for $100 from a G Rinehart of Perth.”
”At this rate we should be set to reach our target in the year 2098, 10 years before we are scheduled to break dirt on our first reactor.”
”Fantastic. Great move. Well done Angus.”
