Australia’s media pack have refused to apologise for confusing known defence lobbyist, Scott Morrison, with an unbiased and balanced commentator when it comes to seeking comments on the escalation of the middle-east conflict.
”Ah, look you know Scott was available and seemed to know what he was talking about so we put him on TV,” said a Spokesperson for the ABC. ”Sure, he kept trying to spruik his book and some type of bomb that his employers were selling, but no real harm was done.”
”Besides, it’s just ScoMo.”
When asked for comment on whether or not his current employment means that he should refrain from commenting on TV, defence lobbyist, Scott Morrison said: ”I reject the premise of your question.”
”It’s me ScoMo, daggy Dad, Christian, sharks fan.”
”I’m not a defence lobbyist, unless of course you want to buy some bombs, I may know a guy if you do.”
