Low rating news network, Sky News Australia, has been named by bookies as the odds on favourite to win best comedy at this weekend’s Logie awards for their Federal election night coverage.
”Australia has not seen cutting edge political satire like what Sky News presented on Election night in years,” said TV Critic Ian Pinion. ”It’s just a pity so few people watched it.”
”I mean Peta Credlin and Rowan Dean’s commitment to the bit was outstanding and don’t forget Paul Murray. He makes a show that nobody watches, yet they still put him on TV.”
When reached for comment on their expected Logies triumph, a Sky news Spokesperson said: ”We’re just happy that people tuned in to watch, they don’t usually.”
”Can you believe it, we booked Credlin, Murray and Kroger and someone watched that train wreck?”
”Kroger hasn’t been relevant since the early 90’s and even then it was for like a year.”
