Liberal Moderates Tell Colleagues They May Bend Over To Drop Net-Zero But They Won’t Be Happy

The moderate wing of the Coalition (apparently they exist), have told anyone who’ll listen, that they may bend over and accept the party dropping net-zero but they won’t be happy.

”It’s time that our colleagues start listening to what we and the electorate have to say,” said a Liberal moderate speaking to The UnOz under anonymity. ”We are tired of having to kowtow to the Barnaby Joyce’s and Matt Canavan’s of this World.”

”And we will no longer hand over our lunch money to the bullies on the right.”

When asked why the moderates seemingly did nothing whilst the Nationals tear the Coalition apart, the anonymous Liberal moderate said: ”We don’t just sit there and take it, sometimes we hide under the table, or turn our cameras off on the Zoom meetings.”

”We understand that these are tough times to be a Liberal, but we ask the Australian people to stick with us as things can only get better.”

”Can’t they?”
