The Opposition’s shadow minister for home affairs, Barnaby Joyce, is rumoured to announce today that he will be joining Australia’s biggest racist bigot, Pauline Hanson, as a member of the One Notion party.

”I can’t confirm or deny anything, you know I’m just a bloke going to work, not looking for trouble but maybe looking for a little love,” said the member for New England. ”I won’t rule out staying a National but you know, I’m a prime bit of meat, that everyone wants to take a bite out of.”

”So, Nat’s, One Nation, start the bidding.”

When asked why he was so focused on himself rather than the issues facing the Nation, the member for New England said: ”A happy Barnaby leads to a happy Australia.”

”An unhappy Barnaby leads to an unhappy Australia and no one wants that.”

”I’m just a simple man with simple needs, good food, a drink here and there (and everywhere) and a stack of interns to mentor. That’s all I need.”
