The sole representative of the Australian Conservatives party, Senator Cory Bernardi has today called on Telstra to fix his phone after he went a week without receiving a single call.
Speaking to The (un)Australian (in person), Senator Bernardi bemoaned his phone, saying: “A week ago my phone was ringing off the hook, then I left the Liberal party and instead of my phone getting busier, no calls. Bloody Telstra, there should be at least 52 phone calls from Abbott and I would’ve thought that Malcolm would have called.”
“Heck even a prank call from Christopher Pyne wouldn’t have gone astray.”
When reached for comment the Prime Minister said of Senator Bernardi: “I’m sorry Cory who? Sounds like somebody I used to know, now if you’ll excuse me I’m off to a cabinet meeting where we will discuss marriage equality. Will be delightful to have a discussion for once without any South Australian Senators threatening to take their bat and ball and go home.”
Telstra was asked for comment, however as of deadline The (un)Australian was still on hold waiting to speak to an operator.
