Former Labor Senator Sam Dastyari has weighed in on the controversies surrounding the Deputy Prime Minister Barnaby Joyce by taking to twitter and repeatedly tweeting: “Look at Me! Look at Me! Please Look at ME!”
“When people leave Canberra they do suffer a kind of identity crisis, Gareth Evans coined it relevance deprivation syndrome” said a Canberra Insider. “In Sam’s case he went from being the popular and witty kid, to the naughty kid to finally being the expelled kid.”
“Now he’s sitting alone in a room tweeting out into the world. Maybe he could get together with Mark Latham and Kevin Rudd and form a support group of sorts.”
Opposition leader Bill Shorten when reached for comment on Dastyari’s tweets said: “Barnaby Joyce, that is all I have to say between now and the election.”
The (un)Australian endeavoured to contact Mr Dastyari through twitter however the disgraced Senator has blocked this reporter.
