Member for Grayndler Anthony ‘Albo’ Albanese has spent his Sunday on the phone to local knife sellers King of Knives to query them over their returns policy.
“I bought a new set of knives a couple of weeks ago and it turns out now that I don’t need to use them so I thought I’d see if I could take them back,” said Albo. “Turns out though you need a receipt to get your money back and as I don’t have one I can only settle for a store credit.”
“But never mind I actually posted a pic of them on Facebook and a work colleague of mine said he was in the market for a new set of knives so I sold them to him. You might know him Peter Dutton.”
When reached for comment on his new set of Knives Minister Dutton said: “I didn’t think I’d need a new set of knives so soon but sometimes things pop up that need to be knifed.”
“Now if you’ll excuse me I’m off to show my new set of knives to the Prime Minister he’ll be shocked to see them so soon.”
