The Federal Government has told the National broadcaster the ABC to cut back some of their audience and give it to the lowly rated Sky News channel.
”Look the ABC needs to learn to share with those less fortunate than them,” said a Government Spokesperson. ”I mean have you seen the ratings for Sky News?”
”The test pattern or Yasmin’s getting married rated higher.”
When asked why the National broadcaster was seemingly a target of the Coalition Government, given that former Prime Minister Tony Abbott promised no cuts to the ABC or SBS prior to winning office, the Spokesperson said: ”And we honoured that promise. We have never made cuts to the ABC or SBS at the same time.”
”Look, the ABC needs to get out of it’s Ultimo bubble and start getting more diversity onto their shows like Sky News after dark does.”
”Get Bolt on to Q&A, Paul Murray on Insiders and Alan Jones on Play School. Alan could teach the kiddies how to write a note to someone they admire.”
